Training

Certification-programme faculty and in house team training for Montessori centres and preschools

Guest Faculty

I serve as guest instructor on AMS/MACTE infant and toddler certification programmes. My background combines an AMI 0–3 Diploma from The Montessori Institute in Denver, AMS Infant and Toddler Instructor credentials, a psychology degree, and continuous classroom practice since 2007; ten years as lead teacher in a toddler community and nine years in independent parent-child practice.

Available for module delivery, guest lectures and practicum supervision across infant and toddler content: theory, practical life, movement, language, and working with parents.

In-house team training

Certification establishes an individual educator's foundation. Consistent practice across a full team is a separate problem, and it is the one in-house training addresses. Programmes are designed around your rooms, materials and staff, and are scoped following an observation day so that content matches actual need rather than a standard syllabus.

Common formats: a recurring half-day across a term, or an intensive block during a closure period.

Start with an observation day

Training topics

  • The prepared environment for 0–3
  • Observation as a professional skill
  • Movement and independence in the first year
  • Language from birth
  • Freedom and discipline
  • Practical life for toddlers
  • Working with parents as partners
