Parenting Circle: a monthly gathering for the grown-ups

Have you ever heard words come out of your mouth that were once said to you, and wondered, where did that come from? Have you ever sat on the edge of a parents' group, wanting to ask something, and held it back because you were sure you'd be judged?

We have. Both of us. And that's exactly why we created Parenting Circle.

Parenting Circle is a gathering space. A place to bring your wonder, your curiosity, and the questions that are alive in you right now, and to sit with other parents who are on their own journeys, discovering themselves through parenting.

It's open to anyone caring for children: parents, grandparents, caregivers. You don't need to know anything about Montessori. Montessori is the path we both walk, and it shapes how we hold the space, but this isn't a Montessori class. If you feel a longing to come, follow your heart.

And please know this: it's not a course. There's no syllabus, no homework, no right answers we're waiting for you to get. We won't be feeding you more information. There's already so much of that out there, isn't there? Instead, we start from the belief that you already hold wisdom within you. The Circle is a place to find it again.

There are no rules and no expectations. Come with an open mind. Share, or simply listen. 

One small request: prepare your space. In Montessori we talk about the prepared environment. Before the Circle, find somewhere quiet. Set the background noise aside. Make yourself a cup of tea or coffee, and just sit. Think of it as a gift to yourself.

Anniebelle likes to say it's a bit like a gym membership. The gym is for your body; this is for you. And just like the gym, the change comes from showing up, month after month.
